Dr. Rajkumar Dutta

Dr. Rajkumar Dutta is a Cardiologist in Kolkata, where he has an exclusive Cardio-Diabetes private practice since 1985. Dr. Dutta has been successfully treating a large number of patients of Hypertension, Ischaemia, Heart Failure and Arrhythmia, as well as Acute Coronary Syndrome patients for over two decades. He is a pioneer in organising Cardio-Diabetic Awareness Camps for the public and doctors in his district, and has been a regular speaker and chairperson at Cardiology seminars for the last 20 years.

After securing the 6th Rank in the state of West Bengal, Dr. Rajkumar gained admission for the MBBS course from Calcutta Medical College, Kolkata in 1973. He won the prestigious Jagdish Bose National Science Talent Search Award in 1974. After completing his MBBS, Dr. Dutta started working as a close assistant to the renowned Cardiologist, the late Prof. R N Chatterjee. He then did his PG Diploma in Cardiology from Calcutta University and later his PG Diploma in Clinical Cardiology.
